Meet Alyssa
Alyssa is a therapist, a mom, and someone who understands that life can get messy. She comes from an agricultural background, which means she brings a straightforward, practical perspective to the work—no overcomplicating, no unnecessary jargon.
Her approach is client-centered, but not passive. She’ll meet you where you’re at, while also helping you take a hard look at what’s not working. Therapy with Alyssa is a space where you can be honest, be challenged, and actually make progress—not just talk in circles.
She uses approaches like CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, and EMDR to tailor the work to you, focusing on tools and insight that translate into real life.
Outside of the therapy room, Alyssa is usually spending time with her family or outdoors—camping, resetting, and staying grounded in the same balance she encourages in her clients.
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
In addition to therapy, Alyssa is a qualified neutral listed on ADR rosters in Minnesota and North Dakota. She provides mediation, parenting consulting, parenting time expediting, co-parenting support, parenting plan support, and parenting plan evaluations.
This work is focused on helping individuals and families navigate conflict with more structure, clarity, and forward movement.
